WHY are you DOING this?

In 1999, Jesse Morris set up a webpage which made use of the Google search engine, PHP, a list of interesting words, and a random number generator to send web-surfers to a random web-page (or "Lucky Lucky Page" as Jesse calls it). "Lucky Ducker" as this page is called, does this by randomly picking two of these words, and searching for them using Google's "I'm feeling lucky" feature. Two of these words were, "energon" and "ovaltine". But, no one thought much of this, until...... Early in 2001, I Gabe Heller, visited "Lucky Ducker", as I often do, hoping to be enlightened or at least amused. I am relatively easily amused, so I thought this was a likely outcome of such a visit. When I saw that it had picked "energon" and "ovaltine," I thought, "Wow, this is gonna be great! Energon and Ovaltine! What's it gonna come up with?" You can imagine my disappointment, when, seconds later, I discovered that NO INDEXED WEB PAGE contained both of these words! HOW can this BE? I thought This is INTOLERABLE! I thought Something MUST be DONE! And here it is.....SOMETHING!
