You are All Dating the Same Guy.

This is the one thing about which the authors of a certain book that shall remain nameless and I definitely agree. You are all dating the same guy. Which one guy this is tends to change from minute to minute. For instance, where I work one minute all the women will be dating my supervisor. Then he'll go take a twenty-minute coffee break. While he's gone, they'll all be dating his assistant. Then he'll come back, but just as he does, HIS supervisor will return from his luxury cruise to Cancun, and then they'll all be dating him.

Why this is I really have no idea. Actually, I have a few guesses, but by this point in the book, the guys with one-track minds should have lost interest, and those with more-than-one-track minds will most likely have switched to the "eternal football reruns" track. And if you women don't know why you're all dating the same guy, I very much doubt you'd believe me if I told you. Hell I haven't had a real date in like...ever. Who am I to explain why you date who you date?

Nevertheless, the point remains: you are all dating the same guy. Now, I know that many of you women suffer from an inexplicable fear of math and science. Note, I'm not saying all women, nor am I implying that women are BAD at math and/or science. You just tend to be a little scared of it. Studies have shown that when you overcome this fear you tend to do just as well if not better than men at it. I'm guessing this is some kind of coping mechanism. I suspect the reason you're scared of it is that if you understood it you'd also understand why the fact that you are all dating the same guy makes it EXTREMELY unlikely that any given one of you will actually end up being his one and only true love. If you ever did understand this, you might, I don't know, commit suicide, or something. That really isn't my area of expertise. However, before you swallow that hemlock, you might consider the following alternative.

STOP ALL DATING THE SAME DAMN GUY. Whether he's into you or not, what are the chances he won't be just as 'into' if not more 'into' the one you pass on his front steps on the way out? If not her, then what about the one parking her car down the street? Do the math. It's not that hard. The book with the pink cover told you all about him, and he's not that into you. DATE SOMEONE ELSE FOR A CHANGE.
